Ok here I go! Cutting my first pattern EVER! Making some new clothes to take with me to my romantic trip to Venice with my boyfriend…so excited!
PS- this is about 2 days after I purchased my sewing machine :)
May 31st 2011, I decided to learn how to sew…My mother has been a seamstress all her life and raised all her kids on the earnings of sewing and designing. These days she makes some of my costumes. I never wanted to sew before in my life, but for some reason I just decided. and I haven’t looked back! My mothers sewing machine is over 40 years old. Its a Singer, the metal kind. This one you see here in the photo is a plastic brother from Wal Mart.
